Take a day tour of fascinating Tokyo. First up is Asakusa, Tokyo's old town where you can soak in the atmosphere of old Tokyo. Visit Sensoji, Tokyo's oldest temple and wander down Nakamise, a shopping street that has been providing temple visitors with a variety of traditional, local snacks and tourist souvenirs for centuries. Next, visit Hamarikyu garden, an Edo Period Japanese garden surrounded by the Shiodome district's futuristic skyscrapers, a great example of how Japan is the land of contrasts. Later visit Meiji Shrine, a shrine dedicated to the deified spirit of Emperor Meiji and a popular place for traditional Japanese weddings. Finish the day at Shibuya's famous 5-way 'scramble crossing'.

Tucked beneath the tracks in central Tokyo, Yurakucho is home to one of the city's most atmospheric dining enclaves - a maze of lantern-lit alleyways and long-standing izakaya and restaurants hidden beneath the rumble of passing trains. Tonight is your chance to explore Tokyo's vibrant food scene where the city's working crowd gathers after dark for good food, flowing drinks, and lively conversation. Enjoy a relaxed evening moving between handpicked local spots where the air is filled with the hum of Tokyoites unwinding. Each stop introduces a different flavour of Tokyo's casual dining culture and is a window into a side of Tokyo often missed - unpolished, energetic, and full of character.

Explore the stunning landscapes of Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park on a full-day group tour by comfortable bus. Begin with a drive from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji’s 5th Station, located at an elevation of 2,300 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level. From this vantage point, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from above the clouds. The views looking down below are quite astounding and you will begin to understand why Japan's tallest mountain is so very revered. After a lunch stop, the tour continues to the charming lakeside town of Kawaguchiko, renowned for its sweeping views of Mt. Fuji and the mountain’s near-perfect reflection on the lake’s surface. Visit Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park, a favorite photography location where Mt. Fuji rises dramatically beyond the tranquil waters. Next, head to Arakura Sengen Shrine, home to the iconic Chureito Pagoda. Reached by climbing 398 steps, this striking vermilion pagoda stands out against the backdrop of Mt. Fuji and is frequently featured in images representing Japan. During cherry blossom season, the scenery is especially spectacular, offering a rare composition of Mt. Fuji, the pagoda, and blooming sakura in a single frame. Throughout the day you will have the chance to get a glimpse of Mt Fuji, however, please keep in mind that it is a notoriously shy mountain and it needs to be a clear day.

Today, enjoy the special experience of dressing in a traditional kimono, one of Japan’s most iconic and culturally significant garments, symbolizing history, artistry, and refined elegance. The colors, patterns, and fabrics carry deep meaning and seasonal motifs such as cherry blossoms, maple leaves, or waves are carefully chosen to reflect the time of year, while designs can also signify age, marital status, or formality. Wearing a kimono is considered an art in itself, requiring attention to detail, balance, and posture. The garment encourages graceful movement and mindfulness, embodying core Japanese values such as harmony, respect, and simplicity. Once dressed, participate in an authentic Japanese tea ceremony and learn about the customs, etiquette, and cultural significance of drinking green tea in Japan - an immersive experience that brings you to the heart of Japanese aesthetics and timeless tradition.

From dramatic power struggles that led to almost 200 years of civil war, to the oldest geisha district and its beautifully preserved teahouses, Northern Kyoto is rich in history and spectacular architecture. Although this region is home to the most popular tourist site in Kyoto, The Golden Pavilion, many visitors overlook the surrounding neighborhoods despite their remarkable charm and importance to the city. With your knowledgeable guide you'll navigate cobblestone streets in neighborhoods that were established over a 1000 years ago. You'll find that Kyoto is not only a city steeped in the past, but full of modern monks, artisans, and college students still working towards its lively future. Visit Kinkakuji Temple, a favorite to millions of visitors each year, you will quickly see why this jewel set into the northern hills is one of the most visited sites in Japan. It is covered in real gold leaf and vibrant at any time of year no matter the weather. Then visit Ryoanji Temple, home to one of the most famous zen rock gardens in Japan. Continue to Kintano-tenmangu, a remarkable shrine to scholarship that was built to appease the spirit of an angry ghost. The shrine's surrounding entertainment district was first built after a fire in 1444, when a large section of the temple had to be rebuilt, and the remaining timber was used to construct 7 tea houses that became the first 'flower town' or Geisha district in Kyoto. Explore the Kamishichiken district, every bit as charming as its more touristy cousin the Gion district, with the added bonuses of fewer crowds and excellent photo opportunities.

Arashiyama is a district in the western outskirts of Kyoto, the area has been a popular destination since the Heian Period (794-1185), when nobles would enjoy its natural setting. Visit the Okochi Mountain Villa to see the several beautiful gardens and buildings, including living quarters, tea houses and a zen meditation hall. Next, take a walk through Arashiyama's famous bamboo groves and continue the tour to Tenryuji Temple, one of Kyoto's five great Zen temples and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Begin your tour with a visit to Peace Memorial Park. The area where the park now lies was ground zero for the Atomic Bomb on August 6th, 1945. After the bombing, Memorial Park was created and dedicated to those who lost their lives in the attack. Stroll through the park and discover the many memorials, monuments and statues in the park before heading into the Museum itself. From Hiroshima, a short train and ferry ride will take you to Miyajima Island. A small sacred island located in the Island Sea, it has been a holy place of Shintoism since the earliest times. Here you will find perhaps the most photographed site in Japan - The Floating Torii Gate. Designated as one of Japan's '3 Most Beautiful Views', the shrine dates back to the 6th century with the present structure dating back to the 12th century. You will have time to explore the island and its many shrines and temples and sample local goodies like maple leaf-shaped cakes.
