Arrival at Madrid Airport. After the passport control and picking-up your luggage, go to the rent-a-car office where you can pick-up your car rental for your holidays. Drive to Parador of Alcalá de Henares, just half an hour from Madrid Adolfo Suárez Airport. Rest of the day is at leisure.

The hotel enjoys a peaceful and relaxed location in the center of the city. The building is one of the city's landmarks, along with the Hoster a del Estudiante in the former San Jeronimo college, which was founded by Cardinal Cisneros in 1510 and which offers marvellous views over the beautiful Patio Trilingue courtyard of the University of Alcala de Henares. The hotel is next to monumental treasures such as the Capilla de San Ildefonso, the Palacio Arzobispal and the baroque convent of Las Bernardas. Nightlife opportunities and links to public transport can be found in the immediate vicinity. The bus and train stations are about 15 and 20 minutes' walking distance away, respectively. The La Dehesa shopping centre is about a 15-minute drive away, and Barajas Airport is approximately 25 km away. This newly opened city hotel was built in 2008. It is housed in a magnificent seventeenth-century building, the former Santo Tom's Dominican Convent and School. All in all, it offers a great combination of tradition and avant-garde, making it perfect for either relaxing stays or successful business meetings. It has 128 rooms in total spread across 3 floors. Amenities and services include air conditioning, a lobby, 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom, lift access, a garden and a terrace. A restaurant, café, bar, TV lounge and Internet access are provided. There are also twelve rooms suitable for holding conferences, meetings and other events. Breakfast. Optional Today we will enjoy a Half Day guided tour of Madrid Highlights and Skip the line to the Royal Palace. See some of the most important sights in the city such as Plaza Mayor, Puerta de Alcalá or the Cibeles fountain, among others. Take pictures of the most significant attractions in the city. Skip the line and discover the Royal Palace with a local guide. This is a morning tour, departing at 9am from a meeting point. And it operates on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The duration is 4 hours and a half. Rest of the day is at leisure to discover the city by your own.

Breakfast. Today, you will drive through the countryside of Spain till the East of the Iberian Mainland. Before arriving in Valencia, you can stop in the wonderful and less known city of Cuenca, a historic wall town UNESCO HERITAGE of the World, where we can breathe the history, from Romans to Medieval times through the Arabic Caliphate. In the evening you will reach Parador El Saler, in Valencia Area, directly on the sea.

A must for all golf lovers, thanks to its 18 hole course considered to be one of the best in the world. Located by the Mediterranean sea, the Parador El Saler also has a seasonal swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, spa and a magnificent football pitch.

Breakfast. Did you know that Valencia city, known by the Fallas is the same city where the typical Spanish paella was created? Even if you knew or not, is the moment to cook an amazing paella and, of course, enjoy it later. Optional: Immerse yourself in the art of cooking a paella without skipping the part where you go to the Central Market to choose the best local products. This is a morning tour, departing at 10am from a meeting point. And it operates every day except on Sundays. The duration is around 4 hours. Rest of the day is at leisure. We recommend just hanging around Valencia. Plaza de la Virgen, the Turia fountain, the Valencia Cathedral and the Serrano Towers are just some of the highlights we will discover.

Breakfast. Leaving Valencia driving North direction, we stop on the coast to have a look at PeñÍscola. This small coast town has been declared UNESCO HERITAGE, used to be the residence of the Popes Benedetto XIII and Clemente VIII, and took part of some scenes of ''Games of Thrones''. In the evening, we will reach the wonderful Parador de Tortosa, on the Ebro River, the border between Catalunya and Valencia Community.

The Abbey, famous for the image of the Virgin of Montserrat, was built in the 11th Century. Optional: After the visit of the Abbey, we will relax in a winery in the Penedes Area, where we will enjoy the Cava sparkling white wine, famous as the Spanish Champagne. In the evening, we reach the famous Parador of Cardona, in all its Arabic Majesty.

Located on a hill at the top of Cardona, this historic hotel lies in the center of Catalonia, 85 km from Barcelona, 90 km from Lleida, 95 km from Girona and 90 km from Andorra. The center of Cardona is just 900 m from the hotel and the following sights are all in the near vicinity: San Vicente Church (80 m), Cardona old town (1 km), the Salt Mountain (2 km) and Montserrat (45 km).
