Depart from Lisbon and journey through picturesque landscapes adorned with windmills and orchards en route to Tomar, a historic city closely linked to the Knights Templar. Explore the Convent of Christ, a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated for its fascinating history and striking architecture. Continue to Alcobaça to marvel at its impressive Gothic church and the poignant tombs of King Pedro and Inês de Castro. Next, visit Batalha to see the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória, a Gothic architectural gem and the burial place of Prince Henry the Navigator.
