Under the guidance of your host, you’ll roll, shape, and pinch your own orecchiette pasta—the famous “little ears” of the region. Learn the traditional techniques passed down through generations, and take in the aromas of fresh herbs, garlic, and tomatoes simmering on the stove. Once the cooking is done, gather around the table for a hearty lunch of your own creations, paired with local wine and good conversation. After lunch, you’ll enjoy the Italian ritual of la passeggiata with a gentle stroll through Monopoli, a charming seaside town with pastel buildings, a historic port, and lively piazzas. Next, continue inland to visit a traditional farmhouse, where you’ll learn the secrets of crafting burrata, the rich and creamy cheese Puglia is famous for. See the process up close—from fresh milk to silky filling—and then indulge in a tasting session featuring burrata at its freshest, alongside rustic bread and seasonal delights.

Today takes you to one of the most iconic sights in Italy: Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its fairytale-like Trulli houses. With their conical roofs and whimsical charm, these stone dwellings are unlike anything you’ve seen before. A guided tour brings their fascinating history to life. After a morning of exploration, you’ll be welcomed into a traditional masseria (farm estate) for a delicious lunch of regional specialities, all crafted with ingredients from the surrounding land. In the afternoon, travel to Ostuni, the brilliant “White City” perched high above the olive groves and Adriatic Sea. Stroll through its labyrinth of whitewashed alleys, adorned with flower pots and sunny corners perfect for photos and daydreams as you enjoy free time by the sea.

Today you’ll head deeper into Salento, the southernmost part of Puglia, a land kissed by two seas and rooted in centuries of tradition. Along the way, stop in Manduria, the homeland of the bold and full-bodied Primitivo wine. Visit the Civil Museum of Wine, where history and heritage blend with sensory delight. Walk through ancient cellars and learn about the tools, stories, and craftsmanship behind this beloved varietal. After the private tour, enjoy a tasting of vintage Primitivo wines, each sip a celebration of sun, soil, and time. Today, fall under the spell of Lecce, often called the “Florence of the South.” Known for its ornate Baroque architecture, Lecce is a city of elegance and stone artistry. Your guided tour will take you through Piazza Sant’Oronzo, past Roman ruins and richly decorated churches, all bathed in the soft glow of golden Lecce limestone. As a sweet finale, visit a beloved historic pasticceria to sample the local dessert treasure: Pasticciotto Leccese.
