You will observe the contrast between traditional residential quarters versus the new architecture in the developing areas. Stop by a much less-visited pagoda where daily worship is still practiced and enjoy the ambiance and culture of this religious site. Mingle with locals at a coffee shop to watch daily life passing by. Then drive further to the war memorial - Huu Tiep Lake. It features a US B-52 bomber that was shot down in 1972 during the Vietnam War. What special about this B-52 bomber is that it was shot down before it dropped any bomb. There were around 47 bombs collected from the wreck. Walk back to the main road and continue your vintage jeep trip toward Hoang Hoa Tham Street. This area is full of bonsais, flowers and pet shops. Chance to enjoy the hustling and bustling vibe between the buyers and sellers. On the way back to your hotel, pass by the lively Old Quarters and the stunning Opera House. The vintage jeep brings you back to the hotel with vivid memories.

This morning, you will be transferred by road from Hanoi to Tuan Chau Marina. After meeting at Heritage Line's lounge at Tuan Chau Marina, a short speedboat transfer takes you to your luxurious floating home, the starting point for exploring the wonders of Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island. Lunch is served in the almost 360-, light-flooded, elegant dining room during we sail deeper into the bay. Unwind on the terrace deck or private balcony, soaking in the surreal seascape. Thousands of limestone islands scattered across the emerald sea, covered in thick forest conceal hidden caves, and provide shelter for colourful floating fishing communities. This breathtaking geographical and cultural jewel is steeped in folklore. Enjoy an excursion off the ship. Once back on board, sail to the overnight anchorage spot in Lan Ha Bay. The ship's chef invites you to a hands-on cooking class in the dining room, showcasing local ingredients and the preparation of classic Vietnamese dishes. Extend the evening by unwinding at the bar with a digestif, or joining the team for some fun before retiring to your suite.

The 60-minute production depicts the transformation of modern Vietnamese society, taking the audience from the serenity and peacefulness of rural village life to the mayhem and frenzy of city dwelling through the medium of dance and music. Using acrobats, contemporary dancers, jugglers and martial arts experts, the performance is accompanied by an ensemble of harmonious instruments, some of which are rare these days and played only by a handful of musicians.
