During this walking tour, you will see the Old Town Square, famous for its Astronomical Clock from the early 15th century, and Wenceslas Square. Following breakfast at the hotel, you will need to make your own way to the starting point of the city tour, located in the center by the Vienna State Opera. The half-day guided city tour begins with a bus ride along the famous Ringstraße Boulevard, where all the city’s most iconic and magnificent sights are located. You will see the Vienna State Opera, the former Imperial Palace of the Hofburg, the Museum of Art History, the Parliament, the Rathaus (Town Hall), and the Burgtheater. The highlight of the tour is a visit to Schönbrunn Palace, the former Imperial summer residence of the Habsburg dynasty. Here, you will enjoy a guided tour of the State Rooms with skip-the-line entrance, offering a glimpse into the lives of Emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Empress Elisabeth, nicknamed "Sisi."
