Close to the Avenida dos Aliados, see the Torre dos Clerigos, the symbol of Porto dating back to the 18th century. Discover the Lello bookshop with its neo-gothic facade and Carmo church splendid architecture. Port wine is an important part of northern Portugal's heritage, produced in the world-famous Douro Valley, the first demarcated wine region in the world! The Duoro Valley is one of the most emblematic sites offering beautiful scenery, winding roads and an abundance of local gastronomy in some of the most prestigious vineyards in the region.
