Start the morning with a trip to Wat Pho, arguably Bangkok's most enchanting temple. Arrive just as the resident monks gather for their morning chants. Witness this deeply spiritual ritual and gain a better sense of Thailand's Buddhist heritage. After the chants, take a walk around Wat Pho and see the vast collection of religious treasures on display. The tour then continues to the nearby Grand Palace, which has served as the seat of Thailand's revered Royal family for more than two centuries. Take a walk around the vast grounds, stopping in to explore the various temples, throne halls and museums within the compound. Visit the Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddhist image in Thailand, and hear about its mysterious origins. Take a break for lunch in a riverside restaurant, enjoying delicious Thai food with fabulous views. Then continue onwards to visit Wat Trimitr, on the edge of Chinatown, which houses the world's largest solid gold Buddha. Afterwards take a long-tail boat and move away from the high rises of the city and venture through the quiet canals upon which the city was originally built. Catch glimpses of the olden days, passing by charming neighbourhoods built on the water's edge. Return to the main waterway, the Chao Phraya River, to visit Wat Arun and admire its incredible decoration with ceramic tiles depicting figures of Chinese soldiers and animals. After a full day of exploring Bangkok, you'll be returned to your hotel in the late afternoon.

This evening, you will be met at your hotel and taken by public transport to Hua Lampong, from where it’s time to hop on Bangkok’s iconic 3-wheel, Tuk Tuk, for a night adventure ride to visit the best local eateries around the famous street zone in town. Bangkok is claimed to be the city that never stops eating. Bangkokians usually find themselves eating out at night, especially street food, which the city is also well-known for. Be taken for a ride and make various food stops at local places in which even smells will ignite one's taste buds. From the best kept-secret Guay Tiew Gai, one of the best Pad Thai in town, and Sukiyaki with seafood, all bites will truly be pleasing. All are guaranteed by Michelin Guide under a special award “The Bib Gourmand”. Also, to delight more taste buds, have some local desserts along the way. Between the bites, make some nice stomach breaks at the city’s old town landmarks. Visit Wat Suthat, one of the famous iconic sights of Bangkok for a night time perspective, and here, be wowed by its illuminated chedis while learning all about the history of the temple. Then, take in the night spot of the Giant Swing right in front of the temple. The night comes to a perfect close as the tuk tuk makes its final stop at Sky View 360, Grand China Hotel. Head up to the revolving rooftop and sip on a chilled Thai beer or your favorite non-alcoholic drink while the 360-degree panorama slowly reveals Bangkok’s dazzling skyline. Enjoy the sparkling city lights, the lively Chinatown below, and the unforgettable view that makes this hidden gem one of the city’s most magical night spots. After the tour finishes, you will be dropped off at your hotel by tuk tuk.

Today, be met at your hotel by your guide and venture away from the city centre of Chiang Mai for an insightful look at Thailand's rich culture. Start with a visit to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Situated on a mountain rising high above the city, this sacred pagoda offers fabulous views of Chiang Mai and its surroundings. Walk up the stairs to see the exquisite gilded stupa and learn about Thai Buddhist beliefs. Afterwards, continue higher into the hills, traveling by songtaew, a local truck. Drive along rough dirt roads to the Chang Khien Coffee Research Project. Enjoy a fresh cup of locally-grown Arabica coffee and hear about the North's flourishing coffee industry. It's a short drive onwards to a village inhabited by the White Hmong hilltribe. About an hour into your walk, stop at a rest station for refreshments and watch the elephants splash themselves in the mud below you. Enjoy your own vegetarian lunch while watching the elephants eat. Continue on to the herb garden to learn about their medicinal properties, and gather some ingredients to prepare healthy supplements for the elephants. Finish the day with a conversation with the mahouts and learn about how they came to care for the elephants and their importance to Thai culture.
