Start your tour with a drive to the famous hill of Montjuic, which offers excellent views over the city and was the site of the 1992 Olympic games. After a brief stop at the Catalunya National Art Museum (MNAC), from where you will hear all about the history of Barcelona, make your way down to Placa Espanya and on past the Modernist buildings of the Eixample area. Your drive to the iconic Sagrada Familia will take you up Passeig de Gracia, home to the famous designer stores, and the setting for two of Barcelona's most talked about Gaudi buildings: La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. Finally, you will arrive at Sagrada Familia where your guide will explain all about the history and importance before showing you inside for a self-guided tour. The "Skip the Line" policy means entrance tickets will have been pre-purchased and there will be! For many, this is the highlight of their Barcelona trip as they experience the wonders of the Sagrada Familia at their own pace without being rushed around by a guide. The group will then head to the oldest part of Barcelona, the Barrio Gotico, which, as late, as the mid 19th century was still surrounded by the Medieval walls. At this point, you will leave the bus and enjoy a stroll through the narrow winding streets of medieval Barcelona. At the start of your short walk through the historic streets of Barcelona, stop for a brief tour of one of Barcelona's most traditional indoor food markets: Mercat de Santa Caterina. From there, travel back in time, going from the Roman era through to the early Middle Ages, when the Catalan counts were controlling the Mediterranean sea, and Barcelona was the capital of an empire. During this part of the tour, you will also visit the Jewish Quarter, the Royal Palace, the original 2000-year-old Roman Temple and part of the Cathedral. The final part of the morning tour takes in part of the Born district, where the guide will point out a variety of restaurants and tapas bars suitable for lunch before ending the trip in the magnificent Santa Maria del Mar church - one of the most beautiful in Barcelona. After a quick lunch, head straight to Park Guell, the famous city garden designed by Anton Gaudi. The guide will lead the group down through the park explaining the garden concept and introducing you to some of Gaudi's most bizarre creations. From the Park, head straight to one of the most famous Gaudi buildings of them all: La Pedrera. You will have an hour here to visit inside the building. The tour ends here at around 4pm.

After meeting your guide in central Barcelona, take a leisurely stroll to the Eixample to discover a tapas gem and one of Barcelona's best Modernist-style bars. The bar serves up delicious small plates of Catalan favorites such as pa amb tomaquet and patates braves. Watch the chef prepare these local specialties, and then sit down to savor a plate and a drink while hearing tales about Catalan cuisine. Walk off your snack with a stroll to Born, listening to your guide talking about Barcelona's history, food and culture as you go. Continuing your stroll through Born, pass Barcelona Cathedral (Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia) and the old Roman city walls, and then wind your way to the heart of the Gothic Quarter to Placa Reial, a bustling nighttime square near La Rambla. Here, a special flamenco performance inside one of the oldest flamenco bars in Barcelona awaits you.
