Arrival in Sarria. This charming Galician town marks the most popular starting point of the Camino de Santiago. From here to Santiago de Compostela is just over 100 km - the minimum distance required by the Church to earn the official Pilgrim's Certificate, known as La Compostela. Take time to stroll through Sarria's historic old quarter, soak up the atmosphere, and prepare for the days of walking ahead. Overnight stay in a comfortable hotel.

Pazo de Berbetoros

El Pazo de Barbetoros (The country house of Barbetoros), also known as "Casa de la Marquesa" (Marquise's House), partially relocated to its current spot after a flood in Portomarin in 1963 caused by construction of a dam on the Miño river, is one of the landmarks of Portomarin village. Having been converted into a hotel, it offers rest and relaxation to pilgrims and tourists wanting to indulge in the history of the village which has been declared Conjunto Historico Artistico ("Historic-Artistic Grouping") in 1946, the time when its beautiful suntrap comes from.

Pazo de Berbetoros

Breakfast at the hotel. Today's stage takes you on a steady ascent toward Ventas de Narón before continuing across the rolling Ligonde Hills. Along the way, you'll pass through charming hamlets with traditional stone houses, including Ligonde, Lestedo, and Eirexe, each steeped in Camino history. Your journey concludes in Palas de Rei, a town long associated with medieval pilgrim routes. Overnight stay in a comfortable hotel.

A Pena de Augasantas is an 18th-century rural house ("casa de aldea") located in Oca de Abaixo, Touro, in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, Spain. Restored while retaining traditional features like chestnut beams, stone walls, and a "lareira" (fireplace), it offers 6 double rooms with private bathrooms, cozy common rooms, and two dining rooms serving homemade Galician cuisine. The property is surrounded by garden space, fountains, old granaries (hórreos), and typical rural structures, all set in peaceful countryside, which also provides free pickup service for pilgrims on the nearby Camino de Santiago.

A Pena de Augasantas

Breakfast at the hotel. You will descend to Lavacolla after passing by Pedrouzo and Amenal villages. Later, one more effort to reach Monte do Gozo. From there, you would finally see the towers of the Cathedral of Santiago, where the way ends. Hotel accommodation
