Then, we pass through the Corridor of Vitória and Campo Grande, areas that during Carnival serve as a passage for the electric trios to reach Cidade Alta. The highlight of this visit is Pelourinho, considered the most important architectural complex of the 17th and 18th centuries. It is a place that attracts people from all over the world for its beauty and cultural diversity, the tour is done on foot. Narrow streets, hillsides and many old mansions will take you back in time. Squares, churches, museums and art galleries give Pelourinho a very special charm. Highlights include: Terreiro de Jesús, Church of São Francisco, Misericórdia Museum (check availability beforehand) or Basilica Cathedral, Casa do Olodum, Iglesia Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Pretos and mainly enjoy the joy of the Bahian people. Later, visit Bahia's Carnaval House, located in the historic center of the city. The great appeal of the space is the interactivity it provides to visitors through various multimedia resources. the Chamber of Creativity and Rhythms of the Bahia Carnival details the diversity present in the Bahian Carnival. With lights, reflectors, and LED tapes, the space proposal is to refer to the atmosphere of the party. To the sound of the songs typical of the folia, the visitor has access to several windows with original objects of artists, showing old and current decorations, important during the celebrations of the Bahia Carnival that are unique. The interactive space gathers the memory of the party in Bahia in a file of material, accessories, sculptures, videos, and audio. Following the visit, enjoy a Bahian Cooking Class.
