Arrive just as the resident monks gather for their morning chants. Witness this deeply spiritual ritual and gain a better sense of Thailand’s Buddhist heritage. After the chants, take a walk around Wat Pho and see the vast collection of religious treasures on display. Admire the famed reclining Buddha image, which stretches 45-metres in length. Learn about the symbolism of the Buddha’s intricate footprint and witness devotees making offerings to this revered image. The tour then continues to the nearby Grand Palace, which has served as the seat of Thailand's revered Royal family for more than two centuries. Take a walk around the vast grounds, stopping in to explore the various temples, throne halls and museums within the compound. Visit the Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddhist image in Thailand, and hear about its mysterious origins. Following the tour of these iconic Bangkok monuments, return to the hotel.
Get picked up for an early morning start to capture the best of Bangkok's spiritual highlights. Travel to Wat Saket, a tranquil temple in the city centre. Arrive in time to witness the resident monks chanting their morning prayers, enjoying this serene and deeply spiritual ritual. Then offer alms to the monks, gaining blessings of health and safety. Take a short walk up the temple's golden hill, listening to the chimes of the temple's bells. Enjoy fantastic views of the Rattanakosin neighbourhood from this elevated viewpoint. Then continue through the historical district of Bangkok, passing by many beautiful religious buildings. Make a stop at a small market to purchase 'Sangkatan'¸ a special offering for monks. Carry these donations to Wat Ratchabophit, a beautiful temple that blends Thai architecture with European influences. Present the sangkatan to the monks, then wander around the temple compound, seeing local worshippers and devotees at prayer. Visit the Tiger God Shrine, one of the oldest Taoist temples in Bangkok, to explore another aspect of Thai spirituality. Learn about the Taoist belief system and its role in Thai society. Pick up at your hotel and transfer to the M/S Naga, an elegant wooden yacht. Set sail from Koh Samui across the open sea for 30 kilometers to reach Ang Thong. The ship will weave around the 42 islands of the National Park, stopping often to explore the pristine landscapes. Swim and snorkel in the clear waters of the Gulf of Thailand and see an abundance of colourful tropical fish and vibrant coral. After exploring the underwater wonders, go ashore to some of the islands to see their remarkable landscapes. Take short treks through the unspoiled forests for fabulous views of the park’s limestone mountains and beaches. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as monkeys, sea eagles, otters, and birdlife. A highlight of the day is a visit to Emerald Lake on Koh Mae Island. Climb up a winding staircase for views of this stunning green saltwater lake. Continue exploring the island and its stunning beach before returning to the Naga. In the afternoon the ship heads towards Wua Talab, a peaceful beach to enjoy a relaxing moment. Spend time on the white sandy beach before cruising back to Samui in the early evening. On the way back, watch the sun dip low into the sky as this day in paradise comes to a close.

Kicking off in the late morning at 11:00, transfer from the hotel to the Chalong Bay Rum Distillery around noon, just in time for delicious lunch at the distillery. After lunch, be welcomed with a refreshing Chalong Bay Mojito, followed by visiting the one-and-only distillery of Phuket. Observe the inner working process. Learn how award-winning rum is produced from sustainably-grown Thai sugarcane and observe the French copper still and on-site bottling facility in action. After the 30-min guided distillery tour, come back to the bar to taste 6 different flavours of rum. Have a chance for shopping before departing the distillery. Chalong Bay rums will be packed nicely as a perfect souvenir to bring back home! After the distillery tour, continue to Wat Chalong Monastery, a center of Buddhism built during the reign of King Rama V. Join the monks as they go about their daily rituals and gain a deeper insight into the life of Thai Buddhists and their deeply rooted beliefs. Next, take a scenic drive with stops at a few viewpoints offering spectacular vistas of Phuket’s beaches.
