Eos By Skycity Adelaide

Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, has all the charm of a provincial city but is also full of history and architecture. Its atmosphere is in the image of its inhabitants, relaxed and refines. Let's also not forget that Adelaide has the largest Australian museum on Aboriginal culture. Enjoy the city on a small group walking tour. On the agenda: King William St /North Terrace / Parliament house / Festival Centre / Adelaide Oval / River Torrens/South Australian Museum / Aboriginal culture gallery / Biodiversity gallery/Adelaide Botanic Garden / Australian plants. Like your local guide, you will be charmed by this elegant city of Australia, you will cover all to the main attractions. Of course, before the end of the tour, your guide will tell you the best addresses to appreciate local products, especially the internationally renowned local wines.

Explore the magnificent Fleurieu Peninsula unlike any other with an exclusive and exciting one day adventure only 40-minutes from Adelaide's CBD. It introduces the visitor to the hidden delights of a spectacular wine and food province set in a pristine pocket of South Australian bushland and coast. We drive off the tourist routes in a luxury, custom-built 4WD vehicle to discover exclusive locations throughout national parks and private property made accessible to tour guide and passionate Fleurieu local, Benjamin Neville. This exhilarating off-road adventure embraces sprawling vineyards with a dramatic backdrop of rolling hills, local flora and fauna, a spectacular beach drive and a glimpse into indigenous history. It includes a relaxed, mid-morning refreshment stop of handmade cheese and local wines to the sounds of the didgeridoo and a specially prepared outdoor, private lunch experience followed by a visit to the world-acclaimed McLaren Vale wine region and a wine tasting at Ben's respected family homestead and vineyard. Highly-acclaimed chef and Ben's partner, Imogen (Mo) Czulowski prepares a delicious 3-course meal on the homestead lawns. Throughout the tour Ben shares his knowledge of and passion for the region, stopping at intervals to allow you to soak in breathtaking views of rocky headlands, backcountry 4x4 tracks and timeless vistas over the vast Great Southern Ocean and Kangaroo Island.

Your journey begins with a city orientation tour. You travel through the scenic Torrens Gorge to the Barossa Valley. Perhaps you'll stop at a local bakery to taste the best of the fine German pastries. Travel over the Jacobs Creek for your first tasting of the fine wines at the Peter Lehmann winery. Then visit Torbreck wine cellars, a small winery with rustic charm, making wines in traditional Barossa methods. After, you'll stop for a stroll in the German town of Tanunda with time to discover the small shops. Before lunch take the picturesque drive up to Menglers Hill for an unsurpassed view over the entire Valley. Continue into historic Angaston - one of the more English villages in the Barossa. Lunch will be alfresco under the vines or at Vintners restaurant just out of Angaston. Your next stop may be Henschkes winery in Keyneton, a fifth generation German winery or the historic Yalumba, the biggest family run winery in Australia. If time permits you may visit small boutique producers such as Charles Melton or Turkey Flat.

Sea Dragon Kangaroo Island

After breakfast, your day of adventure begins travelling west across the island towards the first stop, Flinders Chase National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife on the roadsides as you drive through a variety of vegetative areas, viewing the rejuvenation of native bush flora from the devastating bushfires of 2019. The morning will be spent at known attractions in the park, namely Admirals Arch, where you will spot the Long-nosed fur seals relaxing or playing in rock pools as well as great views of the wild Southern Ocean. See if you can spot any whales during the winter months! After you manage to leave the magnificence of Admiral’s Arch, Remarkable Rocks will give you views of the rugged coastline in this diverse National Park. The amazing rock formations and distinctive red rocks are a photographer’s delight. Learn about the early maritime history of this wild environment, all the while, spotting other native animal species including echidnas, kangaroos, and a range of birds and reptiles. Did you know that Kangaroo Island has its own kangaroo? A sub-species of the Western Grey Kangaroo. The Kangaroo Island kangaroos are darker brown in colour, shorter and stockier, with the thickest fur of all kangaroos. Keep your eyes peeled for Rosenberg Goannas lazing in the sun as we return to the vehicle and head towards Seal Bay Conservation Park, stopping for either a picnic-style lunch in our own private sheep shearing shed or at Vivonne Bay General Store – their famous whiting burger is absolutely a must try, GF and VG options are available. After this tasty interlude, you will continue towards Seal Bay. Seal Bay Conservation Park is home of the endangered Australian sea lion. There are only an estimated 9,000 sea lions left, and Seal Bay is the second largest colony of this species. Walk through the untouched sand dune system and along the pristine beach with your experienced guide or knowledgeable Park Ranger for approximately an hour, learning all about these beautiful mammals. On the return to your accommodation, arriving at approximately 5.30pm, you will have time to freshen up before dinner in our restaurant with fabulous views over Pink Bay and the Backstairs Passage. Tammar wallabies may be out and about on the way back to your accommodation. Please note that the order of activities may vary depending on group size and seasonality. An itinerary with the order of tours and inclusions during your stay will be provided to you upon check-in at Sea Dragon.
