After breakfast at the hotel, meet with the guide to set off for a full day exploring Seoul. Start the day with a visit to Jogyesa Temple, the heart of Korean Buddhism and one of Seoul's most important temples. Surrounded by modern buildings in the city centre, the temple offers a peaceful atmosphere filled with colourful lanterns, centuries-old trees, and beautifully decorated prayer halls, providing insight into Korea's Buddhist traditions and spiritual culture. Then continue to Insadong, one of Seoul's most beloved cultural neighbourhoods. Known for its traditional tea houses, artisan boutiques, antique shops, galleries, and street food, Insadong offers a wonderful introduction to Korea's artistic heritage and old-world atmosphere. Lunch will be served at a local samgyetang restaurant in the Bukchon area. Samgyetang, a traditional Korean ginseng chicken soup prepared with herbs, garlic, sticky rice and a whole young chicken, is regarded as one of Korea's most iconic and nourishing health dishes, and will be accompanied by crispy fried ginseng as a side dish. This afternoon, take part in a mother-of-pearl craft workshop with a local artisan in Bukchon. During this creative experience, design and create a decorative mirror using traditional Korean mother-of-pearl shell inlay techniques. This hands-on cultural activity offers a meaningful opportunity to discover Korea's refined craftsmanship while creating a unique personalized souvenir to take home. Continue to Bukchon Hanok Village for a unique 90 minutes pedicab tour through the village's picturesque alleyways. Pass beautifully preserved hanok houses, hidden courtyards, and historic scenery whilst learning about the district's rich history and traditional architecture from your rider-guide. This leisurely experience offers an intimate glimpse into the timeless beauty of old Seoul. Lastly, head to Yeouido Park, famous for its cherry blossom-lined pathways along the Han River. Wander beneath the soft, cascading blooms that transform the park into a dream-like landscape. Enjoy some free time to admire the surroundings. The remainder of the evening will be at leisure or you may choose to join an optional excursion for a Hanbok Photoshoot in the heart of Seoul. Step into Korea's timeless beauty with a premium hanbok photoshoot at iconic landmarks such as Gyeongbokgung Palace or Bukchon Hanok Village. Wear a finely crafted hanbok, and capture elegant moments with a professional photographer. The experience includes 10 retouched high-resolution images and offers an authentic, graceful connection to Korean tradition.
