Drive to the idyllic village of Saksun, which lies picturesquely bound in a small fjord with high mountains on both sides. Continue on to the village of Tjornuvik, on route stop at the waterfall Fossa. From Tjornuvik you can see the impressive rock formations the Giant and the Witch. Before reaching Gjogv you will have a view of the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands, Slaettaratindur (882 m). In Gjogv, see the natural harbour which the village is named after.
