Hotel Tiziano

The Hotel Tiziano is located in a neighbourhood where you can feel the romantic atmosphere of Venice: the streets and squares are truly genuine, suspended between art, history and daily life, and far from the areas of the mass tourism. Hotel Tiziano is set in a 15th-century building in the Dorsoduro district, near the Church of San Nicolo dei Mendicoli, one of the most beautiful churches in the heart of Venice. The famous Churches St. Nicolo dei Mendicoli or Angello Raffaele are only several metres from the front door.

Passing by Campo San Bartolomeo we walk to the ancient houses of Marco Polo, at the Corte del Milion; we will then cross the Rialto Bridge to reach the commercial heart of Venice, the Rialto Market area; we will see the Banco Giro, probably the first 'bank office' in Europe issuing in the XV century checks recognized in the known world, the church of San Giacometto, the oldest in Venice and the leaning facades of Palazzo dei Camerlenghi, the 'accounting magistrates' of the Venetian Republic. We will mingle with the crowd of Venetians shopping in the lively fruit and vegetable and fish market of the Rialto. The colours of the fruit, the variety of the fish from the Adriatic and the fragrance from a florist shop stuck amongst the stalls make the visit something not to be missed; the sight of what was, and still is, the very heart of the city. The tour might end in the Campo Santa Sofia, after crossing the Grand Canal with the traditional Gondola ferry.

Enjoy a guided 4 hour private tour to Murano and Burano on your own private boat with an English speaking Guide. After being picked up by your Guide in your hotel, take in the sights as you sail past the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, the Public Gardens, the tip of Sant'Elena and the famous Arsenal of the Venetian Republic. The first stop on your tour is Murano, known throughout the world for its glass manufacturing industry. Here we stop to visit to one of the most famous and ancient glass factories, where you will enjoy a live glass blowing demonstration performed by a Maestro Glass Maker. The second stop is at the picturesque island of Burano, famous not only for its lace but also for the fishermen's houses painted in bright colours. Relax and enjoy a coffee before your tour Guide will bring you back to your hotel or to Venice Centre.
